Alison Exley – I am an English native speaker who spent sixteen years living and working in Germany, enabling me to gain valuable cultural and social insights through first-hand experience. During my time there I worked in finance, marketing and HR at Coca Cola, Guinness and Natwest Bank followed by a spell as a TEFL teacher before specialising in translating. After returning to the UK in 2007, I continued to pursue my career as a freelance translator.

Experience and qualifications
I have been working as a translator for 24 years. In addition to a BA Honours degree in German, I have a Diploma in Translation from the Chartered Institute of Linguists.
